Markets, one booking platform

Built for how companies buy

One vendor, one invoice

You contract and pay Q Music for every artist on the booking, so your team issues no individual artist payments or 1099s. ACH is free, and wire and card payments are accepted.

Insured, with certificates on request

Q Music carries insurance and provides a certificate of insurance for most venues that require one. Send the venue's requirements with your inquiry.

Every detail in the contract

Hours, sound, microphones, announcements and setup times are written into the booking, and every artist receives them in advance.

Your run of show, delivered

Load-in, sound check, speeches, the hard stop and your do-not-play list reach every booked artist automatically before the event, along with the venue details.

Vetted twice

Artists are matched to your event by the platform, then hand-picked by industry veterans before any of them is invited to bid. Our vetting process is trusted for thousands of annual music bookings by groups like Soho House.

Bids in days

Your request reaches the network instantly, so you see who is actually available, and bids come back in days.

Real bids, one total

Each artist prices your event individually, and the total you see includes the platform fee. No rate card and no surprises.

Talk to the artist first

Before you book, ask any bidding artist about the song list, the setup or the dress code directly in the portal.

Common questions

What entertainment works best for a corporate event?

It depends on what the music needs to do: an open-format DJ is the most-booked choice for company parties, while jazz trios, strings and acoustic duos suit dinners and receptions. A live band makes a strong centerpiece for galas and awards nights, and many events pair acts, such as a trio for cocktails and a DJ once dinner ends.

How much does corporate event entertainment cost?

It depends on the date, hours, lineup and venue far more than on any rate card, so vetted artists bid on your event and the total you see includes the platform fee. Share your run of show and every bid covers the full picture.

How far in advance should we book music for a corporate event?

As soon as the date is set, and by early fall for a December Friday or Saturday, the most requested nights of the year for company parties. Outside the holidays, a few weeks ahead is comfortable for most dates, and short-notice requests reach the network instantly through the app.

Do we pay each artist separately?

No: you contract and pay Q Music, one vendor for every artist on the booking, so your team issues no individual artist payments or 1099s. ACH is free, and wire and card payments are accepted.

Can the DJ handle announcements and awards?

Yes, when it's part of the brief: put speaker introductions, announcements and award walk-ups in your run of show, and artists bid knowing exactly what the program asks of them. Whoever you book receives the full run of show before the event.

Who provides sound and equipment?

It's settled per booking: many venues have a house system an artist can use, and where there isn't one, artists bring sound sized for the room. Note your venue's setup in the inquiry so every bid covers it.

Is Q Music an entertainment agency?

Q Music is a Chicago-based entertainment booking company that works like an agency for clients and like a platform for artists. One team books and manages the music, but instead of pushing a fixed roster, Q Music invites vetted independent artists to bid on each event, so you choose from real offers and contract one vendor.

Which cities does Q Music cover?

Chicago, New York, Los Angeles, Miami and Detroit and their surrounding areas, with an extended network in most other major markets and one contract wherever your event is.

Can you provide a certificate of insurance for our venue?

Yes: Q Music carries insurance and provides a certificate of insurance for most venues that require one. Share the venue's requirements with your inquiry, and the certificate is arranged before the event.
