Priced by the market, not a rate card.
You describe the event. A pool of pre-vetted artists who fit your event are then further hand-curated by industry experts. The resulting selection is invited to submit a private bid, priced specifically to your event and needs. You end up looking at real offers from real individuals instead of one arbitrary agency rate that ignores who is actually playing.
Q Music's platform fee sits on top of the artist's bid, so the total you see is the total you pay. The artist keeps 100% of what they bid.
Per artist
Bids reflect the variance in preparation required for your event, which depend on each artist's skill and experience.
Per event
Six hours at a black tie wedding should price differently than a two-hour cocktail set. Every variable matters.
One total
Total price, including platform fees, shown upfront. No surprises. Pay free by ACH, or use a credit card with our low 2.9% fee.
Residencies and weekly programming work differently. Those bookings sit at a lower price point and live on consistency, so we don't run them through bidding. We hold competitive rates in line with industry standards and quote them directly.
Those rates are set to attract genuinely good artists and keep them coming back, because underpaying a room is how a program dies. The real savings show up around the booking instead. Our technology absorbs the tedious work on both sides, from subs and contracts to calendars, W-9s, social assets and invoicing. For most venues that nets out against what the coordination costs them today, and for artists it means nobody chases a manager for a check.
